The Data Operations Specialist ensures data is handled accurately, delivered on time, and communicated effectively both within the organization and externally. Responsibilities include managing transmission of data, data structures, monitoring and reporting on data quality, working with cross-functional teams, and resolving data-related issues.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, in-depth knowledge of IT data processes, and a dedication to maintaining excellence in data operations.
As part of this role, one will build relationships with other IT professionals, such as developers, data scientists, and business analysts. Collaborate with these professionals to acquire a deep understanding of source systems, able to make decisions quickly, and identify solutions that meet the critical nature of the business.
This role is a remote position and is also a contract-to-hire. After a successful 3-month contract, you will be eligible for benefits and will transition to full-time employment.

Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of customer data transmissions, including initial layout reviews, scheduling coordination, data receipt, and ensuring ongoing timeliness and accuracy of data delivery.
Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth progress.
Monitor data transmissions and systems for errors, resolve issues promptly, and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems.
Work closely with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to align data requirements, priorities, and enhancements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, workflows, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Familiarity with data transmission protocols (FTP, SFTP, APIs).
Experience with file formats (e.g., Fixed Width, CSV) and data validation tools.
Knowledge of SQL for data querying and troubleshooting.
Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation (optional but valuable).
Strong communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with internal teams and third parties.
Excellent problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving data-related issues.
Familiarity with ETL tools or processes is beneficial.
WinSCP, FileZilla, or other FTP clients.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will develop analytical insights to identify payment anomalies in client’s healthcare claims data. To be successful in the role, you will have sound knowledge and experience with Statistical Models, Data Mining and building dashboards to deliver insights, insights communication and presentation, as well as demonstrating the ability to combine advanced analytics skills with exceptional business acumen. The Data Analyst II will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data findings into clear, concise and actionable recommendations.
